Lors de sa réunion à l’occasion de la Champions League Final IV Event à Sarrebruck le dimanche de Pâques, le comité directeur de l’ETTU a attribué la CCB Europe Top 16 Cup à Montreux pour 3 années supplémentaires
Toute l’organisation du tournoi se réjouit de vous voir nombreux du 20 au 23 février à Montreux !

Le parking du Pierrier étant réservé aux techniciens TV + VIP, il ne sera pas accessible au public.Il y aura un parking le long de l’Avenue du Châtelard (premier arrivé, premier servi).
Si celui-ci est complet, il y a le P+R à la sortie d’autoroute et il faut ensuite prendre un bus pour descendre à la salle Omnisport du Pierrier.
L’option des transports publics est dans tous les cas à privilégier vu l’affluence sur le samedi et dimanche.

Bernadette Szocs: « Its a beautiful country, that always the organization every year was perfect . I am very excited always play in Montreux. »
Question 2 : Does fan encouragement impact the way you play an important point ?
Bernadette Szocs « I love when the spectators encouragements, I love that many people cheering for me. »
Question 3 : Aside from the tournament, what is your favorite thing about coming to Montreux ?
Bernadette Szocs: » I love everything ! The organization, the people and the atmosphere! Always happy to be part of this tournament . One of my favorite place from the world. »
Question 1 : You play tournaments all over the world, what is special or different in Montreux ?
Sofia Polcanova: « I think it is special, because there are top-16 european players and this tournament is very important for us. It is not an usual tournament, but with best of the best. You have to deserve to be there first. I like the atmosphere in the hall, the fans are always very cheerful and supporting. »
Question 2 : Does fan encouragement impact the way you play an important point ?
Sofia Polcanova: « Of course it is very nice to have fans who encourage and support, it gives extra motivation to get better. »
Question 3 : Aside from the tournament, what is your favorite thing about coming to Montreux ?
Sofia Polcanova: » I think Montreux is a very nice place to visit, my husband accompanies me every time to the tournament and he even proposed to me at glacier-3000, which is not far away from Montreux, so we have nice memories from there. »
Question 1 : You play tournaments all over the world, what is special or different in Montreux ?
Dimitri Ovtcharov: « First of all, I have to say the organizers of the event, they really care so much for
the players, the partners, the families are always invited.
I feel really that the organizers of the top 16 in Montreux are really taking care
of the players that feel very well concerning the flights.
We are really invited to an absolute stunning and fantastic hotel, what is also not normal in
our sport as always.
It’s really nice and we have really great transportation.
So in all forms, it’s a really amazing, organized tournament where they really care for the
players and of course the surroundings being right by the water in this wonderful place
with so much history just gives us a really good time. »
Question 2 : Does fan encouragement impact the way you play an important point ?
Dimitri Ovtcharov: « Fan encouragement of course, we travel to all sorts of different places in the world
and of course it’s really nice if the fan encouragement are really behind the event
and Montreux is always packed.
These spectators are very close to the players and supporting us and it’s also close from home so fFamily and
friends come to watch.
So that’s really very joyful to play. »
Question 3 : Aside from the tournament, what is your favorite thing about coming to Montreux ?
Dimitri Ovtcharov: » My favorite thing in Montreux is to be in this really wonderful hotel by the water and then
do the thing I love the most is to do a sports and since it’s so close my family is always
following and I play the best and I enjoy the most when they are with. »
Question 1 : You play tournaments all over the world, what is special or different in Montreux ?
Ying Han: « In Montreux is a little different, because just top 16 players from European. »
Question 2 : You are the champion of the last two editions, what would a hat trick means to you ?
Ying Han: « There is no trick for me to win .trying to always improve my self and fight is the only way. »
Question 3 : Aside from the tournament, what is your favorite thing about coming to Montreux ?
Ying Han: » I like Montreux city so much! Montreux is so beautiful and the fans are so nice, support every player! »

Question 1 : You play tournaments all over the world, what is special or different in Montreux ?
Darko Jorgic : « I am really enjoying in Montreux. Fans are amazing and hall is perfect for table tennis. Fans all very close to table and this gives me positive energy there. »
Question 2 : You are the champion of the last two editions, what would a hat trick means to you ?
Darko Jorgic : « It would means a lot, but i know how hard tournament is top 16. There is only top players and everybody is hungry to win trophy and to be a champion of top 16. I will give everything to try to win a hat trick but let’s see what can happen. »
Question 3 : Aside from the tournament, what is your favorite thing about coming to Montreux ?
Darko Jorgic : « I love to walk around the lake and of course the hotel where we stay every year. Switzerland it’s so beautiful country and it’s similar to Slovenia so thats why i really enjoy the nature. »
